Cuttlefish have a unique internal shell, the cuttlebone, which is used for control of buoyancy.
Cuttlefish have large, W-shaped pupils, eight arms, and two tentacles furnished with denticulated suckers, with which they secure their prey. Cuttlefish eat small molluscs, crabs, shrimp, fish, octopus, worms, and other cuttlefish.
A delicious combination for these stuffed cuttlefish, with a slightly bitter aftertaste given by the cavolo nero, aka Tuscan Kale, but also with a nutty taste given by the pine nuts, previously lightly toasted, chopped and then added to the mixture.
