White sugar, also called table sugar, granulated sugar or regular sugar, is the sugar commonly used in North America and Europe, made either of beet sugar or cane sugar, which has undergone a refining process. With beet sugar, this is usually accomplished using bone char and for this reason white sugar is not considered vegan (or vegetarian).

150 g marzipan
175 g self raising flour
125 g soft unsalted butter
