Apple-Glazed Pork Chops
1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce
1 TB. lemon juice
6 (1/2" thick) center-cut pork chops
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup orange marmalade
Apple slices (optional)
Parsley sprigs (optional)
1. Combine teriyaki sauce and lemon juice in a 13x9x2" baking dish. Arrange pork chops in dish, turning to coat. Cover and marinate 8 hours in refrigerator, turning meat once.
2. Remove from refrigerator; let stand 30 minutes. Cover and bake at 350 F for 45 minutes; drain drippings from dish.
3. Combine applesauce and marmalade; stir well. Spoon a thin layer over each chop; bake, uncovered, an additional 15 minutes or until done. Serve with remaining applesauce mixture. Garnish with apple slices and parsley, if desired. Yield: 6 servings
