Here is a light and very tasty stir fry sauce that should appeal to vegetarians. It appeals to me as well.
Ingredients
1 1/2 tbsp white miso or red miso if you prefer
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 heaping tbsp corn starch or other thickener of your choice
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1/2 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
Put ingredients in a bowl and whisk until the miso is completely integrated. Use immediately or refrigerate for later use. Enough for a stir fry that feeds 4.
