Cabbage Patch Quinoa Bowl:
Ingredients:
1) Cabbage - 1/4
2) Onion - 3 slices
3) Serrano pepper - 1
4) Tomato, Roma - 1
5) Broccoli crowns - 1/4 cup
6) Olive oil - 1 tblspn.
7) Cayenne pepper sauce - 2 tblspns.
8) Cumin - 1 tspn.
9) Mustard seed, yellow - 2 tspns.
Procedure:
1) Chop up the cabbage.
2) Dice up the onion, pepper and tomato.
3) Cut off the broccoli crowns and divide into small pieces.
4) Put cabbage, onion, pepper, tomato and broccoli in a pot.
5) Add a small amount of water (2 tblspns.) and olive oil.
6) Cook on medium heat until all vegetables soften.
NOTE: Stir often.
7) Add cayenne pepper sauce, cumin and mustard seed.
8) Continue to heat and stir for about 5 minutes.
9) Spoon into a serving bowl.
10) Serve.
