because one thing is a link in the web, and the other thing is actually making and tasting.
Love the idea of the courgette recipes, because courgettes are sort of difficult to know how to use. I love them (as I love all vegetables) but my limitations usually include sauteed courgettes, courgette & basil tart, and courgette carpaccio. Then my brain blocks.


Someone once recommended a recipe for courgette "polpette" (posh name for fritters) by Hugh Fairly-Whittyless, or whatever his name is. Absolutely dreadful - bland, tasteless, uninteresting.
Then I found another for courgettes with cumin seeds. "That can't be too exciting," I thought - but it was great.
Using cucumber in a cake really sounds good.
So here's the deal. You make them and I'll try them!
