I absolutely love pate, the homemade rather than packaged version. A cafe/ delicatessen close to where my mum used to work made their own chicken liver and brandy pate. She used to buy me this for a treat. When I was pregnant and couldn't eat pate, I really craved it. When I gave birth my mum bought me a whole tray of it and I ate it every day for a week. My mum has retired now and the shop is miles away from where I live. I really fancy making some myself, but I have never attempted pate before. Does anyone have a really good, tasty, quick and simple recipe?
