125g butter, softened
¾ cup (165g) caster sugar
1 egg
½ tsp vanilla essence
1½ cups (225g) self raising flour
¾ cup (190mL) milk
375g pkt NESTLÉ Dark, Milk or White Melts
1 cup (140g) silvered almonds

Instructions
- preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. grease 2, 12 hole patty pans.
- beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and creamy; add flour and milk and beat until just combined. spoon tablespoonfuls of mixture into prepared pans.
- bake 12-14 minutes or until golden; remove from pan and cool.
- spread rounded side of cakes with NESTLÉ melts to form the body of the hedgehog. press almonds into the chocolate for spikes and use cachous for eyes.
