For the chocolate mousse:
- 6 eggs, separated
- 200g dark chocolate
- 100g butter
- 100g sugar
For the oreo whipped cream:
- 10 oreo cookies
- 1 1/4 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
For the chocolate mousse:
1. Melt chocolate with butter in a double boiler.
2. Beat egg yolks with sugar. Slowly add chocolate, whisking continuously.
3. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into chocolate.
For the oreo whipped cream:
1. Smash oreo cookies into small crumbs.
2. Beat whipping cream until it gets bubbly, slowly add sugar and keep beating until peaks start to form.
3. Fold crushed oreo cookies into whipped cream, and layer on top of chocolate mousse.
Note: This recipe can be turned into a no-bake cake, simply by adding gelatin to each layer and a crust of crushed oreo cookies as a base.
