Makes 1 sandwich about 18" or 45 cm in length, enough to feed two Europeans or one American.
Vinaigrette Ingredients
30 g of olive oil
15 g of red wine vinegar
1 g Oregano
1 g Red pepper flakes
1 g Garlic powder
1 g Black pepper
1 g Salt
Best if you use a drug-dealer type scale , the quantities are quite small.
Mix thinly sliced white onion and thinly-sliced iceberg lettuce in a bowl with the vinaigrette.
After slicing the tomatoes season them with salt.

Starting from the bottom:
Bread
Vinaigrette / Sauce
Meats (ham, salami, prosciutto, pepperoni, coppa, farmers harm, the good stuff)
More sauce
Cheese (Provolone, Gouda, Cheddar)
Dressed lettuce & onion, pickle slices
Salted tomato slices
Sauce & mayo on the top bread
