Being a lover of corned beef but finding it expensive, I recently decided to try corning some of the venison in my freezer. The result was amazing! If you have any venison in your freezer I highly recommend giving this recipe a try. You won't regret it.
The pink curing salt can be found on Amazon. Pickling spices, too, if you want to order them together.

i love all these type of preserving meats,my other favourite is brawn which is preserved cooked pigs head preserved in a jelly made from its cooking stock
also the french confit cooking and storing in duck fat
