Creamed Pearl Onions is a very simple recipe using Heavy Whipping Cream.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1) Skin about 8 ounces of Pearl Onions.
2) In a frying pan, pour about 1/4 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream.
3) Begin to Heat at 275 degrees F.
4) Add in the Pearl Onions.
5) Cover the pans contents with Dill Weed.
6) Continue to heat and stir allowing the Heavy Cream to reduce and the Onions to begin to soften.
7) Ladle to a serving plate or bowl and serve.
This can be consumed by itself or with some other protein or high fiber whole grain item.
