Roast chestnuts for 10/15 mins, peel and boil till tender. Blitz with sugar.
Roll out Puff Pastry and cover with ground chestnuts
Peel and grate apples, squeeze out juice and cover the ground chestnuts, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Peel and slice pears, layer on top of apples.
Sprinkle with nibbled walnuts
Wet pastry edges with the apple juice
Fold pastry over and seal, Brush with apple juice and sprinkle with reserved chopped boiled chestnuts
Bake 25 mins 200c fan.
It is cooling now for tonights dinner when we will cut and exposes its inside.
