Giant Vegetables Flavor vs. Normal Sized Vegetables

Just as a point of curiosity, do giant vegetables suffer any loss of flavor, compared to the normal sized vegetables?

Has anybody tried growing giant vegetables?

I have purchased giant vegetables a few times and find them flavorless.

I have a black thumb when it comes to gardening so I stopped trying. It's strange because my grandmother and father could grow anything.

I did grow a 60 lb pumpkin last year and it tasted much the same as the smaller ones

I have also found that larger than average veggies are not necessarily better. My favorite tomatoes are actually cherry tomatoes. They are naturally sweet and full of flavor.
