Ham & Cheese Sandwich using Ninja Foodi
Ingredients
2 Slices of Bread of your choice
2 tablespoons of melted butter
3 slices of Ham (preferably Italian Parma Ham – Prosciutto Cotto)
4 slices of Cheese of your choice
Method
Melt the butter by placing it in a bowl floating in a pan of simmering water.
Using a teaspoon coat lightly with butter each slice of bread on one side.
Place the Cook & Crisp Basket in the Ninja Foodi.
Place the buttered side down in the air basket and build your sandwich by adding a slice of cheese, ham, cheese, ham until you finish your slices (if you prefer it meatier you can use 4 slices of Ham and 3 slices of Cheese). Top with the last piece of bread butter side facing up.
Close the Crisping Lid, cook on Air Crisp function at 180°C - 360°F for 5 minutes.
Open the lid, use a spatula to carefully flip the sandwich over.
Close the Lid and Air Crisp at 180°C for another 4 minutes
Ready, you can enjoy as it is or at this stage you can add any condiments you like, Tomato, Cucumber, Iceberg, Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard etc.
