Where in the UK are you from, if I may ask? Until just under 3 years ago, I used to live there (had lived there all my life) but we had the chance to come to Australia for 4 years on secondment so took the opportunity .

We lived down in Woking for a few years just after graduating, before moving out to the Guildford/Haselmere area for over a decade. We lived rurally with no neighbours. It was great. My brother lived in Ilford for over 2 decades (now is beyond me but ...)
