Hello! Me again! I thought I might share another recipe I picked up one day when I didn't have much in the kitchen to eat and everything except taco meat for tacos. I know it's kind of a weird way to stumble across something, but it happens. Anyway, that day I remembered a kind of apple salad we used to serve at my old job. It was called Apple Waldorf. It was way too fancy looking to me and when I thought about it later, I didn't have all the fancy stuff to go in it. In the end, I created something I like to call Homestyle Apple Waldorf. Why? Because you can make it with most home ingredients. Speaking of which, here's what your going to need:
1 bowl of salad
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
6 tablespoons of ranch dressing
1 sliced (or diced) apple
1/3 cup shredded cheese
Optional: Bacon bits, ham, salt, pepper.
directions: You pretty much mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and let it refrigerate for anywhere from 1 hour until it's ready to be served.
I hope you enjoy the recipe!
