Honey Garlic Chicken Wings
I cooked my wings on the grill (BBQ), but your can bake them in the oven.
Ingredients
6 Chicken Wings (cut into 12 sections, save the wingtips for stock at a later date)
Salt
Black Pepper
Ground Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Cup Honey
2 TBSP Soy Sauce
6 Garlic Cloves, Minced
2 TBSP Water
1 TBSP Corn Starch
Instructions
Cut your wings into sections, flappers and drums. Season to taste with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through.
Mix corn starch and water into a slurry. Mix honey, garlic and soy sauce in a saucier or sauce pan, while stirring constantly. Add slurry and bring to a simmer. Simmer while stirring often until the slurry thickens the honey sauce.
When wings are safely cooked, generously brush the honey sauce on the wings, and grill or bake a few minutes more. Repeat so that both sides are well glazed.
