Honey, Lime, Jalapeno and Garlic Pork Tostadas:
Ingredients:
1) Pork, stewing - 4 to 6 Oz.
2) Jalapeno pepper - 1
3) Garlic, crushed - 2 tblspns.
4) Honey - 3 tblspns.
5) Soy sauce - 2 tspns.
6) Lime juice - 1 tspn.
7) Cloves, powdered - 1 tspn.
8) Tostadas, corn - 3
9) Shredded cheese blend - as desired
Procedure:
1) Cross slice the jalapeno pepper.
2) If crushed garlic is not available, crush about 3 to 4 cloves.
3) Cook the stewing pork in lime juice and soy sauce until done.
NOTE: Cook on medium heat about 175 to 200F.
4) Add the jalapeno and crushed garlic and continue cooking.
5) Stir frequently and sprinkle in powdered cloves.
6) Stir in the honey and continue to cook for about 5 to 10 minutes.
7) Lay out the tostadas on (a) serving plate(s).
8) Cover each tostada with honey, lime, jalapeno and garlic pork.
9) Cover each with shredded cheese.
10) Serve.
