What's this?
Kahlúa is a coffee liqueur made from rum and 100% Arabica coffee beans that originated in Mexico in 1936. It's known for its rich, sweet coffee flavor and caramel color, and is a key ingredient in many classic cocktails, including the White Russian, Black Russian, Espresso Martini, and Mudslide.

It reminds me of a version of Irish coffee I used to make.
Just whisky and strong coffee, but with amarula instead of whipped cream, as cream was difficult to get
Very tasty, but also lethal. Double whammy of alcohol :)

(Amarula is a bit like Bailey's, but made with the fruit of the Marula tree)

Thanks, I'm not exactly known for drinking or knowing my alcohol except for our wedding champagne (Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque), whisky and black beers, or heather ale.

Kahlua is divine. Makes a wonderful after-dinner drink.
Amarula is also divine; doubly divine! My wife loves it. It's got an elusive berry flavour and, IMHO, is less sweet & sickly than Bailey's.

I'm not a hard liquor drinker so I had never heard the term mudslide and had to look it up. It looks enticing.
