I use to eat these as a kid many years ago....and this is my attempt to recreate them.
Recipe
Ingredients
100gms popping corn kernals
125gms butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp honey
1/2 cup roughly chopped pistachios
Method
Pop your corn as per instructions, or as in my case, ignore instructions and do it your own way.
Melt butter in a pan with sugar and honey, and cook until starts to change colour (approx 10 mins).
Stir in nuts, and remove from heat.
Working quickly, spread popped corn over a tray, then spread caramel/nut mixture over the top.
Using two forks, combine caramel mixture with popcorn.
As caramel cools, use your hands fingers to break clumps in to desired size.
Allow to cool completely, and enjoy!!
