Meat me on a Tuesday

As some of you may know on the 3rd Tuesday of every month we go to a cheese club, well this evening was the 1st evening for a charcuterie evening.
The deli who do the cheese club also did this evening.
The branch manager Sam brought some fine meats and the supermarket equivalent to taste test the difference between the two. The deli meat was sublime

L-r cheesy little biscuit things, jesus de lyon french garlic sausage, proscuitto di parma, chorizo iberico, accompanied with cipolline allacato balsamico, sun dried tomatoes, cornichons and hickory smoked mustard.

Snap, first Wednesday we do dinner club, it's Wednesday here so we're off to a new place in town. Your platters look great.

This is something that won't happen every month, although it has been suggested 1 month we merge the 2, £5.00 for meat, £5.00 for cheese or £10.00 if you want both.

It isn't something we do very often because it isn't cheap.

This sounds like it's not terribly expensive, considering that you get to sample a variety of things, particularly if it's not every month.

It is a really good price for what you get but then the deli make money from the items we can purchase and the pub makes money from the drinks sold so yes it is a reasonable priced evening.
