On Saturday we headed to our local fish market an came back with a basket full of good stuff. We bought two Sea Breams (in Spain are known as Dorada) and cooked it following the classic Mediterranean recipe. Easy and tremendously tasty. See below.
INGREDIENTS (serves 2):
INGREDIENTS (serves 2):
- Two Sea Breams
- Two large potatoes (cut in slices)
- One tomato (cut in slices)
- One onion (cut in rings)
- One lemon (cut in slices)
- White wine
- Fresh parsley
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
METHOD
From bottom to top, put all the ingredients in a tray in this order: potatoes, onion, tomato and parsley. Add some olive oil, salt, pepper and a generous amount of white wine all over the potatoes. Finally, place the Sea Breams on top with the lemon slices within the gills and the belly. Also, add some olive oil in each side.
Bake at 180 celsius for about 45 minutes. Do not forget to flip the fishes so they cook properly.
