Ms. Mofet’s Baked “Asian Style” Inspired Chicken Wings
Amounts depend on how many wings are needed and personal flavoring tastes
Chicken wingettes
Fresh garlic - grated, pressed, or chopped fine
Fresh ginger - grated, pressed, or chopped fine
Onion - peeled and sliced top to root
Soy sauce
Peanut oil - enough to thinly coat
Sesame oil
Hot chili sesame oil
Ground peppercorns
Dry white wine (Pinot Grigio) or sherry (may leave out if you don’t use wine)
Pre-heated to 425°F.
Place all ingredients in a zip-top bag and mix well.
Squeeze the air out and seal the bag.
Allow to marinate at least 2 – 3 hours or overnight.
Turn the bag several times to ensure the marinade gets to all wings evenly.
Place wingettes onto a sheet pan lined with non-stick foil.
Place pan into oven.
Bake for 25 minutes, then turn over.
Bake for an additional 20 - 25 min. or until completely cooked through (internal temperature 180 °F).
