Ok, an elaborated recipe for Roast Potatoes in the Ninja Foodi follows, takes a bit of time and several steps have to be followed, but the results worth the effort.
Step 1
Step 2
Arrange the Reversible Rack in the Ninja on the low setting,
Place the potatoes on the rack,
close the Pressure Lid, making sure the Valve is on Seal, and Steam for 15 minutes,
place potatoes in a bowl and cover them with a towel for 10 minutes,
this absorbs some excess steam and helps the Crisping.
Clean the Removable Cooking Pot.
Step 3
Mix and Massage gently to coat the Potatoes.
Place the clean Removable Cooking Pot back in the Ninja,
add the Cook & Crisp Basket and close the Crisping Lid,
preheat on Bake/Roast setting at 160°C for 5 minutes,
open the Lid and place carefully the Potatoes in the basket,
Bake/Roast at 160°C for 15 minutes,
open and shake,
Bake/Roast at 160°C for another 5 minutes,
Set Bake/Roast at 200°C for 10 minutes,
Cook checking every 5 minutes,
adding 5 minutes cooking time until you achieve the desired results.
