Ingredients for Loaf
Beef Mince 1kg
Bread crumbs 1 cup
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/2 onion minced
4 garlic cloves grated
1 tbsp dried thyme
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup tomato sauce (ketchup)
2 beef stock cubes crumbled
1 tsp ground black pepper
2 eggs
Ingredients for Glaze
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. verjuice (or cider vinegar)
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Combine loaf ingredients and form in to a loaf shape in a foil lined baking tray.
Brush half the glaze over the top of loaf and place in oven. In 40-45 minutes remove loaf and brush on remaining glaze. Place back in oven and increase temp to 210 degrees Celsius and leave till fully cooked (30-40 mins).
