That’s sort of what I was thinking. While no one wants the neighbors in their kitchen, there’s nothing in that article about him trying to work this out in a friendly manner first.

That was my thought too.
Not very Spanish of him is it!
Bet if he'd been nice his coffee machine would have not gone walkies!

Then again I feel a bit sorry for him thinking it was his kitchen and strangers being in it.
I've shared a kitchen with 11 other people before and even nailed down didn't guarantee it would be there when you got back!

Flip side of all that I rented a place once and then found out there was no kitchen access.
