This thread is meant to discuss hobby projects that can be considered crafts or arts. Anything you made yourself.

So for example painting, sculpting, woodworking, drawing, sewing ,flower arranging , jewelcrafting, diamond painting etc are all allowed to be posted here. I hope this gives a clear guideline as to what to post.

I recently picked up bracelet crafting, I am planning on eventually starting a small Etsy shop for my diverse jewelry & crafty things.

Here is my first ankle bracelet ever!

It's made of jellow Jade, orange glass beads, and copper ornaments.

I am considering two new craf/art projects. First is a rope basket for DIL. Second is an acrylic pour painting. Do not expect anything soon. The rope basket will be my first project. I have not even purchased my material so do not hold your breathe.
detroitdad - you have an amazing collection of beautiful poker chips. I have admired your collection since you joined the forum. 🤗
 
I ran into a snag, as in something didn't work right, on my Fantastic Beast minis, so I think I am going to move onto a different room and then go back to my problem child later.

I was working on my petit point rug, but our manufacturer at work announced a price increase July 1st so I've been working on what we need to update web site and accounting programs come Friday, so lots of computer time and eye strain. I'm almost done with the first part and the second part won't be so hard. Hopefully I can then go back to my rug and my other minis.
 
I colour in.. did Christmas cards for everyone once. All thought I had printed them including the colouring in, so never did them again, but I have numerous books and an extensive Derwent Water Artists & Studio pencil set which I love. They always end up in hospital with me.

Obviously there is my knitting and I also spin and dye by hand with natural colours (as in avocado, turmeric, Sydney blue gum bark (gives amazing chestnut red colour in the correct conditions) and others) and i want to try some solar dyeing as well but that will have to wait for warmer weather when the sunshine is a like more reliable.

I've a sewing machine as well. Can make basic items and repairs to or fitting of existing items.

I don't know if my landscape photography really falls under this sided of life anymore. I don't sell my framed prints anymore. I used to have have sold work before.

I need to update that thread. I added a new custom set to the collection. I'll have two new casino sets within the next 6 weeks. Its pretty exciting times (not for Colleen, she doesn't care lol).
