This recipe comes via the "Wauchope Lady Golfers Recipe Book 1994". My Grandmother was a life member of the Wauchope Golf Club, and members contributed recipes for this collection. However, this was my Mum's contribution, not my Grandmothers. And this was the first time I've made these, and was delightfully surprised at the result. Btw, this "publication" isn't copyrighted. It was basically just typed out recipes photocopied and stapled together (see below pics).

*My Mum's original recipe made two parcels, though when i made it I had enough filling for three good size parcels.

That looks good!

BTW, just to be a PITA, under US copyright laws, that may be covered, depending on when it was published. That is all academic since I seriously doubt the Wauchope Lady Golfers give a $hiT about what people do with their old recipe book.

Oh that is such a nice family recipe, heartwarming. I love the description 'tasty cheese'. The filling is tasty, these would also make perfect 'take aways'.
