So I'll be making crumpets here when the batter is done rising but I've got 2 different sizes of rings that came in my kit! One is 3" and the other is 4". Which is correct?
Posted it here. 👍I think it depends on appetite. I like 3".
Please share your recipe and let us know how they turn out!
Thank you! So I've got one set that's 1/2" short and another that's 1/2" over. 🤣These are my official crumpet rings.

They're roughly 3½inches out just under 9cm each.

Well, the sensible thing to do would be develop the recipe to match the egg rings I have...Mix and match?
Absolutely, present it if you will as if all the crustiest deans of Cambridge are waiting to pick the methodology down to it's bones.. or a couple of pics would do 😂Well, the sensible thing to do would be develop the recipe to match the egg rings I have...

The egg ring is the orange silicone inside the larger SS crumpet ring. I noticed the larger crumpet ring isn't as tall as the smaller one leading me to believe they're both designed for the same amount of batter. I read somewhere to use two dessert spoons of batter; I'll read that as 1 oz and check it out on round two.
I'll post results! I'm sure SandwichShortOfAPicnic will need a full weather status report prior to griddling, or spuddling??? 🤣
Pics and explanations!!! 😋Ansolutely, present it if you will as if all the crustiest deans of Cambridge are waiting to pick the methodology down to it's bones.. or a couple of pics would do 😂
