being a bit smitten with my PPK, decided to explore Mr. Bond's "vodka martini" thing.
to note, I previously had a pretty big aversion to martinis - I don't do 'gin' well . . .

since Bond is all a made up film thing, seems there's many "genuine" mixes . . .

here's what I've researched/tried/settled on:
1 part gin
1 part dry vermouth
2 parts vodka
olive(s) of choice - Castelvetrano current my fav
over ice, stirred.....

there is a caveat . . . in contrast to many other 'drinks' - this one is alcohol+alcohol+more alcohol....
it'll whammy a body without breaking a sweat . . .

I used love Electric Ice Tea.

It’s made with blue curaçao instead of triple sec. I love the neon blue color.
The main difference with the Electric Iced Tea is it uses lemon-lime soda instead of cola. So minus the splash of soda on top, there isn't any other difference between the cocktails.

I don't use simple syrup or lemon juice in my Long Islands. When I make some up, I have a simple recipe, 1 part of all the liquors to 2 parts sweet-n-sour mix. I make about half a pitcher of the above, then drink it over several days to a week.
