Ingredients:
300 gms fresh strawberries, hulled
100 - 150 gms sugar
Half a cup of water

Method:
- Roughly chop the strawberries. Put them in a pan and add the sugar and water.
- Bring to a boil and then lower the heat to low-medium.
- Cook for about 10-15 minutes, until the liquid reduces by about 1/2.
- Filter through a sieve (if you´re not fussy) or a cheesecloth (if you can´t take the pips)
