Ingredients
4 pieces of frozen boneless, skin-on chicken thigh
1 tbsp minced ginger
3 tbsp Japanese soya sauce
2 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp cooking sake
white sesame [optional]
Method
1. season the chicken thigh with ground black pepper and salt
2. prepare teriyaki sauce with 1 tbsp minced ginger, 3 tbsp Japanese soya sauce, 2 tbsp mirin and 2 tbsp cooking sake, if you like the sweetness in teriyaki sauce then add 1-2 tsp sugar
3. medium heat the pan and place chicken with the skin-side down, pan fry for 3-4 minutes
4. flip the chicken thigh and add in the sauce then cover the lid, cook for 5 minutes
5. set aside and cut into slices when it is not too hot
6. sprinkle some white sesame
