One for SandwichShortOfAPicnic perhaps? After decades of buying The Gentleman's Relish. I noticed this:

Its only £2 for a pot The pot is tiny but you only need a scraping on a cracker or bread as its very intense. I think I may have overlooked it in the past since I really dislike smoke salmon pâtes, spreads, dips etc. made by mixing smoked salmon and cream together in a food processor, and I thought this would be similar. Its really not and I am now officially addicted to it, getting through one pot per week.

I so would if I could but alas the wheat thing again 😔
But your Lady’s Relish recipe keeps me more than happy!

Oh yes. I keep forgetting the wheat thing although the amount would be miniscule in each portion. I don't know if even a tiny scrap of gluten sets off your allergy.

Maybe I should try makng a gluten free Poachers relish. But at the moment I am not cooking really due to a painful back problem. Its something to think about though.

Thanks for the offer, but it will never arrive.
Our mail is not known for its reliability
I remember when we were in Ireland, we were tasting some whiskey at Bushmills, and they had one that was available only at the distillery.

We went to buy some, and the fellow told us, “I can gladly sell you that, but it’ll never make it back with you, it’ll get ‘liberated.’”

Sorry to hear you backs bad, that sucks!

Yes a tinsy amount is enough, it’s an autoimmune disorder so the body recognises even the tiniest amounts.
That said the level of reaction varies wildly and isn’t predictable based on the amount eaten 🤷‍♀️
Sometimes you know within 30mins you’ve eaten something contaminated and sometimes it takes two days for you to recognise you’ve been glutened!!
