Thermomix - benefits and disadvantages

Hi, write your opinions about thermomix.
What are the advantages and disadvantages ?
thermomix, I want to buy my mother for her birthday.

There main thing I know about these machines and that is that they are incredibly expensive! I personally couldn't justify spending that amount of money on a kitchen appliance.

That is more expensive than the one pictured above, & Who on earth would want to justify getting THAT ONE?!! This one costs almost $1,000!!!! Who would be silly enough to fork up that kind of money just for a cooking appliance?!!!

I did.

Even though it is probably a wizard in the kitchen, holy moly!! The price of it alone, is enough to scare ANYONE away!! I can get a used car for that & be happy!!
