Adobo is a dish cooked with soy sauce and vinegar.

Ingredients:

1 Kl of Water Spinach (kangkong)
1 cup vinegar
3 tbsp soy sauce
4 pcs garlic glove (smashed)
1 tbsp black pepper (pounded)
1 medium size onion (sliced)
1 cup of pork (small cube cuts)
1 cup of water
salt

Directions:

1. Clean the spinach and cut it to desired length. Set aside

2. Saute garlic, onion, pepper and pork cubes until the meat is reddish in color.

3. Add water and let it boil until the meat is tender.

4. Add the spinach, soy sauce and vinegar. Let it boil for 5 minutes.

Sounds really good and not too difficult to prepare. I love spinach so I certainly will give it a try.

I love adobo! We also cook this in a chicken variant, but I loved pork adobo more because you don't have bones to mind, haha!

Though we always cook adobo along with monggo, and they taste great together. The bitterness of the monggo fits the salty-sour of the soy sauce in the adobo.
