I had the fermented shark dish while I was in Iceland. It was horrible. Never again.

Brain curry. When you get over the fact its brain its quite nice

We had an Australian day at work once. They had kangaroo sandwiches on offer. To be honest, the meat looked so grey and unappealing, I couldn't bring myself to eat it.

Oysters. I know for many people this is a common food and not strange or weird in the least, but to me it is. They are horrible to me and I do not understand how people can eat them.

Stockfish - we decline. It is a delicacy of the Lofoten Islands in Norway.

My family has lutfisk every year at Christmas. I have heard so many jokes about it and simply do not understand. I have loved it since my first taste at 15 months old. One of the best parts of Christmas celebrations.

I've had kangaroo a couple of times when I was in Australia. It's actually quite tasty if cooked right. If it's overcooked in the slightest then BAM, it's chewy. I've never had it it in a sandwich though...

I enjoy trying out these strange foods... though yeah most of the time the taste really isn't that great. It's more about the experience.
I also tried that fermented shark when I was in Iceland. And also whale steak. The shark was quite horrible but the whale was pretty nice, though the taste of the meat was REALLY strong.

In iceland the shop not the country they are now selling kangaroo, and ostrich meat.

Probably as big as the egg itself. I've seen one on TV. The thing is HUGE!! About the size of a dinosaur egg!!

a colleague of mine stopped in Iceland on a cruise and bought home some hakari, some dirty cured shark buried in sand to preserve it,smelt of wee,
not for me
