What did you cook or eat today (July 2022)?

I was busy all day long. I arrived home at 7.45 and decided to get an "Indian Takeaway", because I was done for.
I watched the cooks take a ladle of this, and a ladle of that, and a few cooked veg, and some other stuff, and dump it into a sauté pan. I also bought a paratha.
Bland, tasteless, uninspiring, boring, are just some of the adjectives that come to mind.
Truly appalling would be another option.
Thank goodness I learned to cook real Indian food years ago.

It's the 4th time since Saturday that we've eaten out and we've a meal out tomorrow as well so 5 times in 8 days. 5 times us usually how often we eat out in ½ year... so back on the diet on Sunday. It's a joke btw.

The above meal was Yesterday's meal ( I forgot to say that Morning Glory, that's why it was in the june thread) , this was today's:
Baked potato with chives & sour cream, plus roast pork tenderloin with mixed vegetables and Shoarma spices.

Looks like a vegetarian´s worst nightmare this weekend. Minor surgical procedure on Sunday. Instructions:
"Avoid nuts, pulses, seeds, beans, vegetables, fruit, salad, fried potatoes and yoghurts"
So rice, cheese and ice cream?????
