We always have to get it out there for rascal, since it's...what?...nearly Christmas there already.

Believe it or not I contemplated about getting my Christmas deco out of the cellar, over the long weekend
...I decided not to. Being still a tad too early

Improved version of the 18th century bread recipe.
Or we might name it Flora's bread(my friend's name is Cvijeta,which could translate to Flora, and she provided the recipe).
Whole grain wheat flour,rye flour and corn flour. A tad more water, and the required lidded dish.
Very tasty, soft, very happy
As it cooled off, kid and I were tasting and admiring it,and the meat tom sauce was just reheated,and so it happened we ate bread, meat tom sauce, pickled red beet for lunch.
Kid had some choc, and I had a baked kabucha squash.

My first attempt at cooking since getting out of hospital exhausted me to the point of a 3hr afternoon sleep! nice meal though.

Yee Gad! How time flies. It's Monday, November 1st. Breakfast today was two Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese muffins with a hash brown patty and some orange wedges.

Just got back from a long weekend trip. Went to Savannah Georgia. Had blackened red snapper with fried grits cakes and She Crab Soup. That was an excellent meal. Next day I had shrimp and fried grits tacos. Very good. Also went to a breakfast place with 4 1/2 stars on Yelp. It was the worst breakfast I have had in decades. Tonight, too tired to cook. Wife is tired too.

Today's meal was something with mushrooms, - turkey with mushrooms and gravy sandwiches and French fries.
The gravy was mostly turkey gravy, but included onion, Jalapeno pepper, mushrooms, rosemary, thyme and marjoram.
