A trip out to The Dog & Duck in Linton, Cambridgeshire. A lovely picturesque old pub by a river.

First up I went for Dog & Duck Bitter brewed in Suffolk

Verdict - a good rounded flavour. Not overly bitter. Slightly fruity overtones. Cheers!

Then I switched to an old favourite - Adnams Ghost Ship

I'm a great fan of this beer - I love the bitter citrus taste which is reminiscent of grapefruit. Cheers again!

I love country pubs, looks really cool there. I was sober driver yesterday but I'll be drinking speights old dark in a few hours.

The latest installment of the Woodforde's collection. When they say bitter, they certainly mean it. This is a much more bitter beer than their "standard" Wherry beer. A good sharp bitter - just to my taste.
