Whiskey Milk Punch (Scailtin)
Make 2 large mugs or 4 smaller cups of punch

Ingredients
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup Irish whiskey
2 TB honey
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
Freshly grated nutmeg, to decorate

Directions
Put everything into a small saucepan, give it a good whisk, then set it over medium heat.

Whisking vigorously to create a nice froth, gradually increase the heat, continuing to whisk, until the milk begins to steam. Do not let it boil.

Pour into heated mugs, grate over a little nutmeg, and enjoy!

I can remember this from my teenage years. One of the lodgers who was an actress at a local theatre was home late and found me up and unable to sleep. She made me a wonderful hit milk drink with whisky in it. I reckon that it would work now quite easily with soy milk. ❤️
