Eat breakfast at 10AM
Second mug of tea or coffee
Plan day (food shopping) and leave by 11AM

Sundays/holidays/days off:

That’s it. What’s your morning routine? Do you even have one?

While it's hot...
Early routine
Wake up (between 0530 and 0545)
Shower etc
Water the garden
Cook dog food & boil water
Make coffee and check emails, news, fora etc

If it's a bit cloudy, I may have a coffee first, then water the garden.
Note that it is generally already quite hot by 0800

I wake up when I feel like it if I'm not working, which could be 7 or 10. Often i just lie in bed for an hour before getting up. Restroom, toothbrush, 1 cup of tea, 1 cup of coffee (while I check emails and if it's Mon-Fri,stock portfolio), then 2nd restroom visit and shower. Make our breakfast and decide what's for dinner. Possible grocery shopping.

On vacation it's the same except the beach time in the afternoon.

My routine as of late (and this is every day by the way):

to bed by about 10pm
nature calls usually about midnight
go back to sleep
3am take thyroid med
go back to sleep
7am take pancreas med (I just found this out, these meds must be taken on a) an empty stomach and b) 4 hours apart --- did not know this for the past YEAR!!! Wonder why my numbers are still wonky)
go back to sleep
930am up and at `em
nature calls again
wash up
1 cup of Coffee (with just a small amount of Stevia and oodles of 1/2 & 1/2) followed by 1 cup of Peppermint Tea (straight up), while I read emails, calendar, weather
Necessary room
about 1030am, make brunch for us two
maybe another cup of Tea if it's cold, which it has been all of a sudden
check all Social Media
decide what we're going to do for the day - doesn't matter what, there's no hard and fast rules around here, unless it has to do with caring for my Mother, doctor's appointments, etc...
get dressed, yes, I'm still in my PJ's up until about noon-ish, and if we're not leaving the house, they stay on all day.

Summer I shower in morning winter I shower at night.
If wifes at work ( school.hrs)
I get up after she leaves go downstairs and make cuppa earl and few biscuits .
Mid morning I take out the nights meal
Then watch crime docs or history programs. I may have lunch ?
Sat and Sunday morning studying form and gambling.

Usually up at around 6 - 6.30am.
Make tea,( Indian Mamri tea with ½ tsp of lapsangsouchong) served in a mug which takes ¼ lt. I drink my tea in PEACE while I look at the BBC News, my gmails, my FB and Cooking bites. I have another ¼ lt of tea.
Any interruptions are met with rejection; this is my time of the day.
I take a shower but, if I'm going in the garden, then I don't. I save it for lunchtime, by which time I'd probably be turned away from a pigsty.
Breakfast ( and sometimes, there isn't any) is usually about 3 hrs after I wake up.

Weekdays:
Up at 6am, woken by hubby who gets up 30 minutes earlier to take his thyroid meds. Bathroom and brekkie, followed by catching of a chook that is probably on rest of life antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds (in pjs). Then I'll chaperone the other chooks away from hubby's vehicle so he can leave for work at 7am before I get dressed and sit down to study for 7:30am. In summer, I'll also lock up the house, shut all the windows and doors and pull the blinds down at this point. I'll only open up again when the outside temp is down to within 1°C of the inside temp. In winter, it will be a stack the stove with wood job instead.

Weekends:
Hubby will normally wake me at 8am for breakfast. Then we'll choose the week's food, he'll go off and shop (after I've rescued him from the chooks using bribery... they fight over who gets to go under the vehicle as it drives away, they've sussed there are goodies in the form of insects and worms where we park, and it is becoming a problem at the moment). Apparently every other farm, the postie plays dodge the dogs or cats except for ours where they have to play dodge the chooks! They now know where the bribery is kept for desperate measures (one chook chases you down the track running after the vehicle!).
And by 9am I'll be studying in a Saturday or trying hard to avoid studying if it is a Sunday.

The chooks are all in automatic doors, so we don't need to open up in the morning (except if they are broody, ill or are the chicks which don't have an automatic door yet). So mornings are easier than evenings which need to include the lock up routine, round up stray chooks, collect the eggs, turn the mulch over, a head count and roll call...

If I need to go in to the office:

Wake up at 6:30
Morning pee
Breakfast (something quick)
Get dressed
Leave house at 7:10 to walk to the train station

If I am working from home:
Alarm goes off at 8
Abuse snooze button/claim I can’t get out of bed due to cat wanting to cuddle until almost 9
Morning pee
Log on to computer
Breakfast in front of computer
Change out of PJs sometime prior to first meeting of the day

Yes, I’m terrible. I’m also very lazy. One day maybe I will develop a healthy morning routine (in my dreams!)

Weekday morning routine:
Up between 05.30 and 06.30
06.00 take morning medicine
06.00 shower
06.30 make breakfast for myself
07.00 wake husband for work ( he always has only a yoghurt for breakfast)
07.15 husband is off to work
07.30 load dishwasher
08.00 plan Facebook post for volunteer work
09.00 Do grocery shopping/ and or cleaning
11.00 Get cooking dinner
12.00 Dinner

Weekend routine:
I Wake up between 06.00 and 07.00
06.30 I have breakfast
07.30 I take a shower
08.30 I play a computer game
10.00 I wake my husband
11.00 I start cooking dinner
12.00 I eat dinner, he eats breakfast. He eats dinner later.

Due to my medical condition I eat dinner at lunchtime, something my husband often joins in but in weekends he usually eats his breakfast when I eat dinner. He's a night owl and I am an early bird, but this way it works for us
