This cross-stitch is well-known in my family because it was old enough to vote by the time I finished it. I originally got the kit from my grandmother in 2002ish and finally finished during pandemic lockdowns in 2020.

Yeah, I've had a few projects like that. In fact, I've one now. Started my first dollhouse probably around 12 years ago and never finished. It was supposed to be a very nice 2-story cottage. Well, things like wallpaper and lighting have deteriorated so, some got torn out and tossed, some got left, and it's going to be a witches, ghosts, ghouls party house now.

Haha yep…and people ask “hey did you finish that project yet?” and you have to very sheepishly admit that no, you haven’t yet…but you will eventually! (18 years later in my case!)

What do you think about the rework on my bazaar guy? Need to cut the laces after the bottom soles I just glued on to cover the lacing underneath are dry.

Another pair of socks. This time for my little sister who has UK 9 sized feet!

I was playing with helical knitting where you knit with 2 strands that never meet so you don't get a join at all.

The apparent diagonal lines are optical illusions where the fabric isn't tight over the sock blocker. The coloured vertical stripes are created by slipping a stitch every 6 stitches. Depending on the colour you slip, you can get a light stripe or a dark stripe.

I pulled out some of my stash of seasonal decor and took her "Turkey bowl" vase along with a few picks that I made to go with everything.

Finally got the courage up to start wigging Cassina. I have some banana curls drying to put on her right side, then she'll get some kind of fascinator in her hair. Added a bracelet to her left wrist. She'll eventually have an opera glasses style mask.

Her escort has his hose, breeches and vest done. His overcoat is done but for 1 sleeve that is giving me an absolute fit about sewing it in. Got so frustrated I haven't worked on it in several days, just had to put it down. I need to take some in progress pictures of him as well.

I've been working on the display box. The dock is almost done, just needs a couple more planks cut and glued in place. The lighted pilings need to have red stripes added and their clay bases to hold them up need to be painted blue. Then, I'll hook them up plus the lights on the side walls, and that will be the electric done.
