You said ' pleasant Christmas ' which is fine of course, but the way we say it is ' vrolijk kerstfeest ' ( Joyful Christmas) if you want to say it as the Dutch do .
Fijne feestdagen ( happy holidays) is the most common holiday greeting everyone gives you, even the cashier at the store.
