This was the only Pub we would go to. The landlord was and ex RSM in a Para regiment. He learned to make "curries" when he was seconded to a Gurka regiment. His rules were strictly enforced.

I flew to Barbados from Heathrow with my big brother on Concorde in the early 90s. His company paid, they also paid me to drive him about at the destination.

I paid Fred Dibnah cashers to knock down a chimney in my asset stripping days. I sold the old bricks to a company that cleans them and sells them to builders. The build new houses that look old.
