Hot smoked foods (fish in particular): advice please

Tajín, I always think, is heavy on the lemon.
I thought it was lime, but yes, the citrus is pronounced for sure. However, when blended with Cajun spices and cumin, it's quite muted.

Linguisitic misinterpretation. What you guys call "Key limes"are always "lemons"in Latin America. Small, green and generally, no pips. The yellow ones here are called "French lemons"and are rare.
I wouldn't call what I buy in the grocery store key limes. I lived in Florida for about 35 years and key limes are usually more yellow than green with a different flavor than other types of limes. The limes I see up here in Ohio generally come from Mexico and yes, they are seedless, but they are bright green and larger than key limes.
