Well, I have finally joined the BBQ world when we were able to pick up this free BBQ at the weekend.
Why? Well one of the problems we have experience in our time in Australia is that it is simply too hot to cook indoors at certain times of the year. I took to cooking first thing in the...

i don't know if any of you guys have access to cheap gas powered bbqs. Ours is an 18 inch cast iron round plate with 3 legs and cost us $80. The gas bottle was about $25. It takes up no room in the car, we got ours for Xmas bbqs at the beach on our holidays, but with beautiful weather here...

Add 2 pints blueberry, 1/4...
These are the biscuits that we have with the "BBQ" shrimp. We decided that one recipe isn't enough to soak up all that sauce, so Karen makes 3 recipes because I am a :porky: .

1/8 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 Tbsp unsalted butter...
The title is misleading as the shrimp/prawns are not cooked on the grill. "BBQ" in this case refers to the wonderful sauce created. This is one of the first dishes we made after making Emeril's Worcestershire sauce. The recipe is from Emeril Lagasse's "New New Orleans" cookbook. I will post his...

Cooking fish outdoors makes sense to me. I have had it on camping trips, but always in a pan. I've never eaten it cooked right on the grill, but it sounds really good.
I've also heard of people wrapping it in heavy duty foil and cooking it the campfire coals.
Have you tried any of these methods?
