vegan
Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of any product created by or obtained from any living creature.
Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals. A follower of the diet or the philosophy is known as a vegan. Distinctions may be made between several categories of veganism. Dietary vegans refrain from consuming animal products, not only meat but also eggs, dairy products and other animal-derived substances. The term ethical vegan is often applied to those who not only follow a vegan diet but extend the philosophy into other areas of their lives, and oppose the use of animals for any purpose. Another term is environmental veganism, which refers to the avoidance of animal products on the premise that the industrial farming of animals is environmentally damaging and unsustainable. Interest in veganism increased in the 2010s, especially in the latter half. More vegan stores opened and vegan options became increasingly available in supermarkets and restaurants in many countries.
I've adapted the recipe from here and added some suggestions from this site where I got the recipe from. It is suggested that it is served over rice but I think it could work with pasta as well. I would also suggest that if you have time try to marinate the tofu for 12-24hrs in the fridge...
I have been eating this recipe for years. It is a nice thick soup that needs to be served completely pureed. It is best made in advance and allowed to mature because of the herbs and spices involved and it is lovely and warming. Serve with some nice wholesome fresh bread if you can.

Ok. I finally got on the 'vegetables in cakes' bandwagon (thanks mainly to @classic33). I had to experiment a lot, but here's my kind of carrot cake - I called it 'see in the dark' because of the old saying 'carrots help you see in the dark'. But its also got a nice white topping to make it easy...

The early hours of the morning should not be mixed with any recipe involving chocolate and certainly not one which sounds as good as this one does! And I have found a very dangerous website, one that contains lots and lots of desserts which can easily be made vegan. This is from there...
The hours when you can't sleep are not great, nor are coming across recipe after recipe for chocolate this, that and the other which you can't eat, so I rather like it when I find a recipe that intrigues me and I can eat... This one meets both of those conditions.
