The best style of broccoli for me is the one fried in butter. The taste is delectable and I can eat it together with rice even if there are no other dish. But usually, we just microwave the sliced broccoli pieces for 3 and 1/2 minutes with margarine. That can serve as garnishings for meat dishes like steak or fried chicken. The best part of broccoli for me is the flower but my husband prefers the stem especially when it is fried in butter. It's a good thing that broccoli is now available almost in any market and groceries unlike before when we could only buy it in Baguio City, that's 6 hours of road trip away.
I had some the other day from a restaurant and it was quite good. It was served as a cold salad and I could tell it was mixed with mayonnaise, onions, a little sugar,raisins and I am guessing some sugar.
