We never use flowers in salads so we will be ok. Such a pretty flower

Edible flowers are fantastic in salads and as garnishes. Flowers of herbs are particularly good - rosemary, for example.

We use herbs but don't grow flowers to eat, those we can eat are generally covered in bug spray to keep the beasties off them.
